What is GrooveBay?
−GrooveBay is a peer-to-peer marketplace where you can buy and sell vinyl directly with other music lovers. Discover unique records, rare finds, and classic albums locally—or have them shipped nationwide.
How does GrooveBay work?
+GrooveBay works like a marketplace: list records, discover vinyl, and buy or sell safely through our platform.
What are GrooveBay’s fees?
+Sellers pay a 5% commission on the sale price (introductory rate — standard 10%). Buyers pay a 2% platform fee (introductory rate — standard 4%) plus shipping costs (PostNL €7.45 — DHL €6.25 — DPD €6.95).
When will I receive my order?
+Delivery time depends on the shipping method and the seller. You'll receive an update as soon as your order ships.
When do I get paid for a sale?
+Payouts are released after the order is delivered or marked complete, according to marketplace policy.
How are my listing images handled?
+Listing images are automatically optimized and reviewed according to our content and quality guidelines.
How can I cancel an order?
+Orders can be canceled by both buyers and sellers, provided the order has not yet been shipped.
- For sellers: If the item is no longer available or there is another issue preventing fulfillment, please contact us.
- For buyers: If you have changed your mind or no longer wish to proceed with the purchase, please contact us as soon as possible.
To request a cancellation, send an email via the Contact page and select “Other” as the subject. Our team will review your request and process the cancellation accordingly.
Please note:
If the order has already been shipped by the seller, it is no longer possible to cancel the order.
What do the condition grades on GrooveBay mean?
+GrooveBay uses the international Goldmine Grading Scale: from Mint (M, perfect and unplayed) to Fair (F, heavily damaged). As a buyer you can see the grade on the listing page; as a seller you'll find a full description of each grade via the information-icon when creating your listing.
